レゲエロックバンドPOWWOWのフロントマンボーカリスト津山直正と、スカ〜レゲエシーンやラバダブマーケット、FLY-Tなどと曲を送り出している東京レゲエシーンで活躍するシンガーhiyori（ヒヨリ）により結成されたアコースティックユニット。
互いの愛するスカ、ロックステディー、レゲエ、ロック、フォークを、ガットギターと２人の歌のハーモニーで表現、尚かつジャンルにとらわれない自由なスタイルで、オーガニックでハートフルなメロディを奏でるユニット、それが☆マーレーズ☆なのである。

Starting his career as a DJ in '94, in '02 as a resident DJ at arcadia-music he also organized the legendary out-door party. Now he is a editing & planning maneger at the music magazine "posivision", and mainly organizes the pages about sounds, continues to release fine quality info about music. Mainly structuring his rhythm with Click/Minimal, his ekletik and unique DJ style is high responded especially from the dancers . The resident at present is a "Nagisa music festival" (www.nagisamusicfestival.jp/) and minimal & click party"TRINITRON", He takes an active part at the center of the party scene in Japan around Tokyo.
